WAVE LINE - THE LOCAL RESOURCE FOR CURRENT MARINE AND MOUNTAIN CONDITIONS.

Recently launched to serve the Sunshine Coast with a local resource for current marine conditions April through September and Mountain conditions October through March. Forecasts and conditions from Environment Canada with added local information regarding tides, small craft activities, fishing reports, wild life sightings etc. Updated at least twice daily at 10am and 5:30pm, with additional updates from visual observations when changes occur.. Please refer to it next time your planning a day on the water or a snowshoe in the alpine.

The original inspiration of the Sunshine Coast’s rich culture, music and art came from the beautiful coast line it continues to thrive upon. Most of it is only accessible by boat and even more so in a kayak. Halfmoon Sea Kayaks have been renting kayaks, providing instruction, and guiding multi-day tours all over the Sunshine Coast, Northern Gulf Islands and the isolated Central Coast since 1998. If you want fresh air, beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife and a non intrusive way to enjoy it, kayaking has to be the Sunshine Coast’s best suggestion. Originally operating from the government dock in Halfmoon Bay with three rental kayaks, We have grown with the paddling community and now provide two launching locations with the support of our outdoor adventure store in Sechelt.
